Talk about a bad gadget week! The Netgear USB Wireless Adapter we bought from Speed Computers, Baguio is not working. We bought in May, installed it on my pc and for about a 2 weeks was working fine. I was able to get online.Then SmartBro had some problem with its connection- it turned out that our transmitter isn't receiving any signal from their network. Just last week, their technical crew went over to check out what's wrong, fixed the transmitter (he said it wasn't properly aligned), fixed the connection and just when our internet connection was working again, my pc all of sudden stopped working.
So, we tried using the wireless adapter on my brother-in-law's pc. We installed the software and when I was prompted to plug in the Adapter, surprise, surprise! it's not lighting up and the computer can't detect it. Whew!
Well, we returned it to their shop last Friday cause it's still under warranty. We were told to wait for their response since their in-house technician wasn't there. Until today, we're still waiting for their call.
