Meet the Hilfigers

I looove the Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2011 Ad Campaign El Country de-la-Club-ius. Photographed by Craig McDean, styled by Karl Templer, and art directed by Trey Laird, the ad concept revolves around a fictional American family of Hilfigers spending their time at the country club.

Rain, rain is falling down... falling down all over me...

Anyone who has stumbled upon my blog knows what a photography fan I am.  Well mother nature has been preparing for some awfully amazing May flowers in these parts.  It has been raining quite a bit.  Instead of 'showering' misery on its presence, I sought to find beauty in it.

What follows are several photos I took of the beautiful raindrops at varying speeds.  Looks like I need new raincoat, as there surely more to come!

Lovely Scenes of Summer

I am terribly sorry for the delays. I've been having migraines since Sunday but I will be posting the giveaway winners tomorrow.  Meanwhile, here are lovely photos of summer.

The Romantics

The Romantics movie, with impressing cast that includes: Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Anna Paquin, Elijah Wood, Malin Akerman, Adam Brody, Jeremy Strong and Rebecca Lawrence, revolves around a group of very close friends who are called “The Romantics” because of their dating history. The plot starts, when they reunite for the wedding of two of their friends, causing problems while the bride and the maid of honor have had a long rivalry over the groom.

Regardless of whether the movie is worth seeing, one thing is sure – the photo shot for J. Crew Fall 2010 collection is fabulous – looove it!

Keeping things in the moment - one frame at a time...

I really enjoy taking pictures. Photography is my way of 'keeping things in the moment'.  It's my way of documenting my life and giving life to objects around me.  Free expression, akin to the gift of dance.  I imagine I am an 'image hoarder'.  I like to etch what I see in my mind.

For I often say, the thing that would bother me most in life, would be to lose my memory.  How tragic to not remember places I've been, spices I've tasted, loves I've lost and those I still have.

Yes, a picture is a thousand words, for all those one day not to be said.  I hope you enjoy a few others I have taken below:

Moët & Chandon Campaign

And another fabulous campaign shot by renowned and one of my favourite photographers Tim Walker. The new advertising campaign of Moët & Chandon, features Scarlett Johansson, celebrity ambassador for the brand since March 2009. The campaign consists of photographs that embody the sense of glamour and reflect Walker’s signature style, combining extravagant staging with romantic motifs. I especially love the one where Scarlett stands on a wooden ladder, next to a generous champagne cascade- simply stunning!
