a place to sleep.

Last night, I slept in my own bed for the first time in ten days and it felt mighty nice. As much as I truly loved our trip to Hawaii, I'm happy to be back in my favorite city.

And speaking of good places to sleep, how lovely is the idea of a wedding tent? This couple ended their wedding day by shutting their eyes in this gorgeous, little-white-lights-lit cloth tent. Perfect.

ten images of inspiration : springtime parties.

It's that time of year again, when plans are in the making to throw another springtime soirée. Daydreams of jars of flowers, pale-colored bunting, delicate sweets, and rosy drinks are piling up in my head. And all of the above images just make me even more excited and inspired.

ten images of inspiration : love me do.

If you haven't noticed, I have been keeping away from the Valentine's Day posts this year. I know there are plenty of people who truly hate the holiday, and even as someone in a good marriage, it has never been one of my favorite days. However, I couldn't help doing one post for all the romantics out there (Mom, this one's for you.)

vintage love.

How sweet is this photoshoot by Jill Thomas for Amorology Weddings? The inspiration was vintage-inspired with an element of beauty and elegance. I love everything from the fashion to the fruit/flowers and all the little details in between.

wedding pom poms.

Another amazing wedding idea from Anna of Rifle Design- this time her shows you how to make DIY Wedding Pom Poms on Once Wed. Truthfully, I just want to make these to hang all around my house. (Psst, did you ever see this project Anna did a few weeks ago? Complete perfection.)

pop-up party inspiration.

When flipping through the most recent issue of Martha Stewart Weddings at a friend's house last night, I fell madly in love with these absolutely beautiful Pop-Up Party Decorations. Such amazing ideas- I want to throw a huge party just to try them all out.

ten images of inspiration : once wed eye candy.

Whenever I am in the mood for a heavy dose of inspiration, I head on over to one of my favorite blogs: Once Wed. The weddings featured on there are always out of a dream and the galleries are the perfect things to flip through when looking for ideas for parties, photographs, decorating, food displays and of course, weddings. Be still my heart... can my husband and I get married all over again?
